OPTIMUS FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP LTD PROFESSIONAL RULES

Fighters are to be disqualified or suffer points deduction if they receive warnings at the referees discretion for not abiding by any of the following rules.

1. No head butting, eye gouging, hair pulling, biting or fish hooking.

2. No attacking the groin.

3. No strikes to the back of the head. This does not include the side of the head.

4. No small joint manipulation.

5. No running out of the ring/cage during a bout.

6. Strictly no holding the cage. Hanging on the cage will result in an immediate warning, second offence will result in a points deduction.

7. Kicks or knees to the head or the face of an opponent who falls face down and is TKO’d or KO’d are strictly prohibited (the referee will stop the fight at the first sign of not being able to defend oneself).

8. The use and application of oil, ointment, spray, Vaseline, massaging cream, hair cream, or any other substances is strictly prohibited and should not be applied to any part of the fighter’s body before and during the fights.

9. No placing a finger into any orifice or into any cut or laceration of an opponent.

10. No striking to the spine or neck.

11. No throat strikes of any kind, including without limitation, grabbling the trachea.

12. No clawing, pinching or twisting the flesh.

13. No grabbing the clavicle.

14. No Kicking to the kidney with the heel.

15. Holding the gloves or shorts of an opponent is strictly prohibited

16. No spitting at an opponent.

17. Strictly no engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct that causes injury to an opponent.

18. No using abusive language in the ring or fenced area.

19. No attacking an opponent on or during a break.

20. No attacking an opponent who is under the care of the referee.

21. No attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of a period of unarmed combat.

22. No flagrantly disregarding the instructions of the referee.

23. Timidity including, without limitation, avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouthpiece or faking an injury will not be tolerated and may conclude with the disqualification from the event.

24. Strictly no interference by the corner during the bout unless the referee pauses the fight or the corner throws in the towel.

25. There are to be two corner men for each fighter participating within a bout.

26. Medical banadages i.e. crepe for hand wraps are permitted though loading over the knuckles is not permitted.

27. Strikes via punch, elbow, knee, heels are permitted from any position when both opponents are conscious (though they must not be aimed to the spine, back of the head, throut or groin). If any unnecesary strikes are landed to an unconscious opponent the Referree may disqualify the aggresser if deemed unacceptable.

28. Soccer kicks to the head of a downed opponent or an opponent with one or both knees touching the canvas are strictly prohibited.

29. Foot stomps are allowed.

30. Open hand slaps to the ear are prohibited.

31. No stamping to the head of an opponent is allowed.

32. Leg twisting techniques, heel hooks and figure four toes holds are permitted.

33. All Professional Standard & Tournament Fights are to consist of 3 (three) times 5 (five) minute rounds).

Ways to win a fight

- Submission by physical or verbal tap out.
- Technical knockout and thus a referee stoppage.
- Judges decision (unanimous, split, majority, draw)
- Technical decision
- Technical draw
- Disqualification
- Forfeit
- No contest due to the continual disregard for the afore mentioned rulings
- Corner throw in the towel on behalf of their fighter
- Decision by three judges based on the entire match as a whole, not round by round.
